Current Vacancies at DAAS​ 

Exciting and rewarding opportunity for an NMP or GP with special interest to support our veteran community in Derbyshire!
STAND TO Derbyshire Veteran Community Services – Alcohol Service are looking for a Nurse Prescriber or GP who would like to provide a dedicated prescribing service for alcohol reduction and relapse prevention for Derbyshire veterans. STAND TO provides a veteran to veteran service and works across Derbyshire County excluding Derby City. All veterans referred for Alcohol support have a skilled and qualified alcohol key worker Clinical governance will be provided in part from DAAS as part of the Derbyshire Recovery Partnership and from within Derbyshire NHS Health Care Services. We would expect to need approx. 3- 4 hours per week dedicated time for prescribing for up to 20 veterans per annum who will need between 1- 6 sessions. Payment will be provided in line with NMP prescribing costs.

 ​Military Representative on the Board of Trustees

DAAS and StandTo are looking for someone with a military background to bring that experience and understanding to our board of Trustees

We are a registered charity in Derbyshire supporting people with alcohol and substance misuse problems.  We have a dedicated veteran to veteran services for ex-armed forces and their families in Derbyshire, accessed through our Veteran Information Point (The VIP). We are looking for a veteran who might be able to join our DAAS Trustee Board, who can represent the views of our veteran community. 
The role will require attendance at one 2 hours meeting per month, or if this is not possible, to attend 4 meetings per annum and/or provide input by email. Meetings are not currently face to face and are conducted by Zoom
