Derbyshire Alcohol Advice Service has a dedicated training and promotions team. As part of Derbyshire Recovery Partnership we are able to offer free training to health, social care and community staff who work with adult residents of Derbyshire.
Outside of the partnership we can deliver bespoke training to meet your organisations needs. Contact training@daas.uk.com to discuss
COVID19 has meant that our face2face training, both at our own base and at your organisations base has had to stop. We are working hard to develop a series of online courses that are still accessible for health, social and community staff working with adult residents of Derbyshire. Our courses are primarily conducted by ZOOM but if delivering a tailored course can use whatever software your organisation prefers.
The training we offer includes:
Alcohol Awareness
Substance Awareness
Derbyshire Recovery Partnership: Service Talk
Training in Development
Creating Conversations and Brief Interventions
Staying Safe
If you work for a health, social or community organisation in Derbyshire we can tailor training to your needs. We are also able to virtually attend team meetings to explain what Derbyshire Recovery Partnership provides and how to refer. Use the contact form below or ring 01246 206 514 to get in touch.
Details of the courses and how to book can be found below or contact the training team at training@daas.uk.com and they will be happy to answer your enquiry, we have our own training room or we can come to your premises.
